WANAKA GOLF CLUB

The Wanaka Golf Course is a picturesque 18 hole golf course surrounded by mountains, overlooking the lake, nestled above the township of Wanaka which is a short 1 hour drive across the Crown Range from PGQ's Queenstown base.

The Wanaka Golf Course was established in 1922 down in the common. It then moved up the hill in the 1930's extending to Faulks Terrace and Stone Street. Then, in 1967 nine holes were established across the road at Wanaka Station.

A par 70 with spectacular views of Lake Wanaka on the front 9 and views of the Southern Alps dominating the back 9. Course maintenance is of a very high standard, this is New Zealand club golf at its best.

Wanaka is a year-round recreational paradise, each season featuring it's own character, colours and leisure pursuits.
